In 1968 the IVF Centers Prof. Zech were founded in Bregenz (formerly: Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Endocrinology) as Austria’s first private hospital for In-Vitro-Fertilization


Today, the IVF Center employs more than 35 people and, at the same time, is the parent site of the Prof. Zech group.

IVF Centers Prof. Zech - Salzburg


The many years of friendship and professional relationship between Univ. Prof. Dr. Zech and Univ. Doz. Dr. Spitzer led to the foundation of the IVF Center, Salzburg in 2005. In 2010, additional consulting rooms were set up, thus enabling optimum support for our couples.

The institute for Reproductive Medicine and Endocrinology in Merano was founded in 2001. As the first foreign subsidiary it marked the beginning of cross-national activities to offer their patients the best possible therapy options.

The IVF Center in Pilsen / Czech Republic was founded in January 2003 opening up new opportunities for couples who may consider the option of egg donation. Unlike many other countries, the Czech Republic does not ban egg donation.
